1. Overview

Junk Takers for Neighbors is a quote-request and provider-routing website for junk pickup inquiries. We help visitors submit junk pickup details so the request can be reviewed and, where appropriate, routed to an independent junk removal provider for follow-up.

Junk Takers for Neighbors does not currently operate as a junk removal company, does not send its own crews, and does not directly perform junk removal services. Final pricing, service availability, accepted items, pickup timing, and service terms are confirmed by the independent provider before pickup.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we may share it, and what choices you may have.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide through our quote request form, including name, phone number, email address, city, ZIP code, service area, junk description, selected item categories, job size, timing preferences, access details, special handling notes, extra notes, and consent checkbox confirmation.

We may also collect or generate system information related to your request, including planning estimate range, estimate explanation, page source, timestamp, landing page type, service type, market, niche, UTM campaign information, referrer URL, upload count, upload note, and internal lead quality or routing status.

3. Local-Only Photo and File Previews

The website may allow you to select photos or files to preview on your device while using the quote tool.

At this time, selected photos and files are used only for local browser preview. They are not submitted through the form, not sent to Formspree, and not transmitted to Junk Takers for Neighbors or to a provider through the website.

The form may record only limited upload-related information, such as the number of selected files or a note that files were previewed locally. Please save any photos you may want to share later, because a provider may ask you to send photos directly during follow-up.

If we later add file upload storage or photo transmission, we will update this Privacy Policy before using that feature.

4. How We Use Information

We may use submitted information to receive and review your quote request, generate or display a planning estimate, route your request to one independent provider at a time, allow a provider to contact you about your submitted request, respond to questions, maintain internal records, improve website functionality, monitor lead quality and provider performance, prevent spam or misuse, and comply with legal or recordkeeping obligations.

5. Provider Routing

When you submit a quote request, we may share your submitted information with one independent junk removal provider at a time so that provider can review your request and contact you about possible service.

We do not intend to sell or distribute the same request to multiple providers in the first version of this model. If our routing model changes in the future, we should update this Privacy Policy and the form consent language before using that new model.

Independent providers are responsible for confirming their own availability, pricing, accepted items, service terms, insurance status, licensing status where applicable, and pickup details.

6. Vendors and Service Providers

We may use third-party vendors to operate the website, process form submissions, host the site, route messages, maintain records, analyze website performance, or support future CRM, email, call tracking, or automation workflows.

Current or potential vendors may include website hosting and security providers such as Cloudflare, form processing providers such as Formspree, email, spreadsheet, CRM, analytics, call tracking, webhook, or automation providers, and internal business tools used to review, store, or route quote requests.

7. Calls, Texts, and Emails

By submitting a quote request and checking the consent box, you authorize Junk Takers for Neighbors and the independent provider assigned to your request to contact you about your submitted junk pickup request.

Contact may occur by phone, text message, or email. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of text messages by replying "STOP" where text messaging is available. You may also tell us or the provider that you no longer want to be contacted. We will make reasonable efforts to honor opt-out or revocation requests that we receive.

8. No Guaranteed Quote or Service

Planning estimates shown on the website are informational only. They are not guaranteed quotes, not binding prices, and not service commitments.

Final pricing may vary based on actual volume, item weight, stairs, elevator access, parking, carry distance, disposal fees, labor time, provider review, accepted items, and other job details. Final pricing and pickup terms must be confirmed directly by the provider before pickup.

9. How We Share Information

We may share information with one independent provider at a time for quote follow-up, vendors that help us operate the website and process requests, business tools used for lead review, routing, storage, or delivery, as needed to comply with law or legal process, to protect rights, safety, security, users, providers, or the website, and in connection with a business transfer, merger, sale, financing, or reorganization.

We do not knowingly share local-only photo previews because they are not uploaded through the current website flow.

10. Data Retention

We may retain submitted quote request information for as long as reasonably necessary for business, routing, quality control, fraud prevention, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and consent documentation.

As a first-version internal rule, ordinary lead records and consent logs may be retained for up to 24 months, unless a longer period is needed for disputes, legal compliance, accounting, fraud prevention, or consent defense.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect submitted information. However, no website, form provider, email system, CRM, or internet transmission is completely secure.

Users should avoid submitting sensitive personal information that is not needed for a junk pickup quote.

12. Your Choices

You may contact us to request that we update or delete your submitted information, subject to legal, operational, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and recordkeeping needs.

Depending on where you live and whether applicable legal thresholds are met, you may have additional privacy rights, such as rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain uses of personal data.

13. Colorado Privacy Note

The website currently serves the Denver Metro area. Colorado privacy obligations may depend on factors such as consumer volume, revenue model, data use, targeted advertising, sale or sharing of personal data, and other thresholds.

As the project scales, Junk Takers for Neighbors should reassess whether the Colorado Privacy Act or other state privacy laws require additional notices, rights processes, opt-out mechanisms, universal opt-out signal handling, data protection assessments, or vendor contract updates.

14. Children

This website is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
